Hey
👋 Let me introduce myself!
Originally from Russia, I traveled to the U.S. 5 years ago with my whole life packed in a little turquoise suitcase.
Prior to my UX journey at General Assembly bootcamp, I graduated from two Kaliningrad Colleges with B.S. in Music Theory and Management & Economics. Attending those schools at the same time helped me to plan and manage my time efficiently.
After graduation, I had a great opportunity to work as a music theory teacher for children ages 5 to 17. Connecting with children and my love for music strengthened the skills that I now apply to my work as a UX Designer: being a good listener, staying curious and empathetic in finding the best human-centered solution.
My passion for UX started with reading “Don’t Make Me Think” by S. Krug. This book sparked the light in me and made me take my first step towards transitioning to UX. It reminded me of what my strengths are - helping others and solving problems.
Feel free to reach out to me! I always enjoy making new friends and connections! 🤝
Things that I enjoy the most
Exploring 🎒
I don’t have to go across the country to get excited about traveling. Keep it simple. Even a trip to a local book store is memorable.
Hand-made cards 💌
It’s been almost a decade since I started making my own cards. I enjoy creating personalized cards that are relatable and relevant to the person.
Music 🎵
Since childhood, I’ve been introduced to music and singing. I play piano, compose music and make song covers.
Photography 📷
My first camera was gifted to me on my birthday by my dad. It’s been almost 10 years and this precious gift is still with me and helps me in capturing my life.
